AI can assist in differentiating assessment types, designing real-world tasks, and drafting rubrics.
Pedagogical Note: Assessment design should reflect the pedagogical principles presented in Module 0, particularly hybrid assessment, verification-first learning, and transparency regarding AI use.

Exercise 2: Designing an Authentic AI-Supported Assignment#
Goal: Design a learning task that connects course concepts to a real-world context while incorporating AI in a meaningful and responsible way.
Authentic tasks simulate the kinds of problems professionals face outside the classroom. These tasks often require students to analyze real data, evaluate trade-offs, justify decisions, or communicate insights to stakeholders.
Step 1 — Identify a Real-World Context
